  1. RT @thebookjam: Opportunity to Connect with Public Television: I am on the curriculum advisory council for ITVS. http://bit.ly/175dfQ
  2. Thanks for the great responses on authors/celebs as audiobook narrators. Verdict? Leave it to the professionals! (Except for @neilhimself!)
  3. @Emma_Caywood Very true!
  4. @sherriola That seems to be the consensus with dedicated listeners. Authors/celebs reading *seems* like a good idea, but isn't always.
  5. RT @kevinrfree: I, of course, disagree. Not all authors are good at bringing characters to life. I'm a celeb, so I agree w/ that part. Ahem
  6. @StarrGazr Yes! It just seems like they're trying to hard. Same goes for bad dialogue writing too, it's just not always as obvious.
  7. @stevenbrent I agree! I think they'd change their mind if they could hear a comparison. Good author-narrators are rare!
  8. @StarrGazr ugh - bad accents are the worst!
  9. @laurenstraub I think some authors do a great job, but not everyone is a good reader—and that's more important than it being the author.
  10. "Audiobook" search tweets are interesting. Seems many think authors or celebs should always be narrators. Your thoughts?
  11. I'll join the masses and wish @neilhimself a happy birthday. So uh....HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!
  12. @odesk Thanks!

  17. @scantron33 So I just remove the image link/ref in the CSS, then place that image in a block that I assign to the header?
  18. @califone Did you know there's a band with your name? They just released an album! http://is.gd/4RJrl
  19. @scantron33 Would it overlay the current header though, or just add a block underneath? #drupal
