  1. Lots of stuff to think about there. Agree the pub analogy is a good one. Hmm. May blog about it. Sleep now. Back later. Thanks everyone. x
  2. @Scobleizer Just saw that tweet about normal people not being on Twitter. Oy! Actually, am not normal... as you were. :)
  3. Thanks for all the feedback. Will check again when I'm properly awake. Thanks 2 @scobleizer - wouldn't be a proper discussion without you.
  4. Guess I could trial something (would let you all know first) and do it for a week or so and see what you all thought then poll you again.
  5. Aside from message/tone/content I'd be on the look out for split infinitives and correct usage of less/fewer. Could be tricky.
  6. There's one here that lets you pre-approve tweets - if I did it then I'd definitely use something like that. Prob wouldn't make much cash :P
  7. Am surprised by feedback @scobleizer - still only one 'no'. Opposite of what I expected.
  8. Absolutely @BuckyKatt although, I'd only want to promote something I believed in anyhow. Are any progs sophisticated enough to do that?
  9. Thanks @BuckyKatt - @sczi just said that too. If I did it I'd want to have 'ad' or 'sponsored' in there so people would know.
  10. @Sczi sold to in the guise of not being sold to - annoying. If I did anything it would HAVE to be up-front and open.
  11. Thanks @Sczi - great help. Different account that is sponsored might be a good idea. As you say, I'd definitely be transparent. Hate being..
  12. @MikeJarman is just 'can I do that exact thing, without being fake, and make money for heating oil too'?
  13. @MikeJarman for it. I just do it because it's nice to be helpful. The other parties make cash but I don't mind that. My interest in this...
  14. @MikeJarman could ignore it. I wouldn't keep hammering on about it. At the moment, I set up business deals constantly - don't ask for money
  15. @Sczi @MikeJarman Good points. Would I take a fee to mention something in a pub? Probably actually because if they weren't interested they..
  16. read it all. Going back to bed now though - only 6.30 a.m here and am dozy.
  17. ...be out of the desperation of freezing coldness if I ever did it. Would definitely be up front with you all. Keep sending feedback. Will..
  18. Thanks for all the feedback. As I said, haven't done anything about this yet and would be v open with you if I ever did decide to - would...
  19. @MikeJarman That might be an idea. Not sure that would be financially viable though.
  20. ideas on a daily basis - and it's 100% genuine - Would be worried if paid to rave about stuff that people wd read all tweets in that light
