  1. You know it is really raining when ur car looks cleaner 'cause the pelting rain washes off long-lived road dust #rainyOregon
  2. You know it is really raining when stepping into the big puddle in front of garage door and your foot gets wet up to your ankle #rainyOregon
  3. Looking for advice on ide options for Ruby on my new mac. I know about textmate...I like browsing/searching/refactoring support.
  4. Really hate it when "Chris" with a heavy Indian accent calls up to ask if I want to update my Yellow Pages listing. #banFakeNames
  5. Ah the joys of online Christmas shopping....Amazon, what would I do w/o ya? Just spent 2 hours online. Beats battling crowds anyday.
  6. @jwilger Hang in there.....hope you both feel better soon.
  7. @DianaOfPortland After calls trying to get them to fix credit refund, I gave up. Their system showed only 1 order and 1 delivery. #amazon
  8. @DianaOfPortland Last yr Amazon sent me 2 receivers. I ordered 1. I returned 1 & they credited my acct. Both had identical mailing labels.
  9. @DianaOfPortland Then again, reading ur amazon woes in earlier tweets, maybe they sent email to wrong/compromised email addr. Hang in there.
  10. @DianaOfPortland FWIW, sometimes providers can block emails&be 2 aggressive w/blacklists. I've had trouble w/earthlink being 2 eagr in past.
  11. @shawnlevy I go to Beard's framing. They are a chain but do a good job for reasonable price. My bro who wked in art gallery recommended them
  12. Goodness. ThinkGeek has bacon mints and bacon jelly beans. Great stocking stuffers http://www.thinkgeek.com/caffeine/wacky-edibles/ce85/
  13. @AgileForAll Saw #kindle sw manager job posted on craigslist a while back. Almost applied for it. Seriously. Think I care 'nuf to mk diff
  14. @AgileForAll Still, the thing that might bug me is lack of font diffs.Code should look like code, etc. Not sure #kindle is up to it.
  15. @AgileForAll I suggest you look into the bigger textbook sized kindle depending on whether you are looking at hefty tech books. #kindle
  16. @AgileForAll One more #kindle limitation. Digital rights. A bk is good for your kindle only (or pc). No other ereader fmts supported. Boo.
  17. @AgileForAll Still, I like my kindle for what it is good at: reading books w/o pix or graphics. Haven't read tech bks on it yet. #kindle
  18. @AgileForAll Magazine and newpaper subscripts are pretty awkward diff to navigate. Not at all like I expected. So I don't use 'em. #kindle
  19. @AgileForAll I find UI slightly annoying:dict doesn't work on hyphenated wds. Fonts are ugly. Wish I knew what phys pg I was on #kindle
  20. @AgileForAll Books being restored a bit more problematic. I have not used highlighting or annotating features. #kindle
