  2. James our 10 year old is 11 next week. He still plays with Tanks and Soldiers, totally fine by me :) we are not a very PC family, sorry...
  3. I know Christmas is now next month, but I still can't stand this crass advertising on TV, yes I am a 'grumpy old man!!!'
  4. Typical British Autumn Sunday here, grey, wet and steamed up windows. Decided to take the day of- working much much too hard :/
  5. There is a damn leak in my studio roof- luckily not near my computers, but just been drawing with a hat on to keep my head dry!
  6. I finally realized how to read the internal email twitter messages- sorry everyone who sent messages! silly me :0.......
  7. I have always (if needed) set up small shoots to get the right shadows / form etc. To me all helps communicate the idea and vibe...
  8. an interesting subject 'reference' for an artist. Purists say we 'should' do it all by imagination, but even the great masters had models!
  9. Spent the whole morning setting up a small model fantasy 'temple' in the living room (for reference) anything for the 'right lighting'
  10. Shaved my beard off and now my wife will kiss me again!
  11. Last saturday went to a bizarre Halloween party and met many 'dead' people including a bunch of actors, artists and musicians
  12. That's the great things about kids- they are so in the moment and an example to us all- I struggle not to stress about the future constantly
  13. Really noticing how Laurie (our 13 yr old) is so good at giving me an opinion on my art. Tells me very clear useful things- no holds barred!
  14. Actually finding work a sanctuary. The great thing about fantasy art is getting lost in another world and often damn fun.
  15. Though there is a recession I seem to be busier than ever and very gratefull for all the work- always a danger of saying yes to too much :/
  16. Hello! been not twitting for a while as spending sooo many hours at the computer, my brain has been numb, but here is what's up...
  17. Very busy over here in Avon land. About half way through and extensive book series / Magic cards and much else, still want to be cloned!!!
  18. Problem with all light therapy / light boxes is they are expensive- but damn worth it. But try to get out in the sun everyday= Serotonin
  19. My solution to SAD / Light Therapy has been a portable "Litebook" great device you can carry about. 30mins of using this wakes me up!
  20. S.A.D I'm one of those also affected by grey clouds=grey moods... BUT been using LIGHT THERAPY for 3 years now and it works!
