  1. Feeling full from the office holiday potluck. Credit goes to JA for his impeccable timing. I haven't laughed that hard in years.
  2. @dougschaefer The Linux System Programming book by Robert Love is good for low-level system applications.
  3. Is that all you got, Frost? I shake my snow shovel at you!
  4. RT @uncultured: Proof that God hates Twilight - http://bit.ly/7VkyYy
  5. @k8eb Boo-urns! It's totally chic and not the least bit practical!
  6. Draining excess water from the pool. Garden hoses leave a nasty aftertaste.
  7. @gnomon May I also suggest an ultraviolet strobe light for the living room?
  8. @gnomon What was the merit for the advice? Were they hip to the Internet or old school?
  9. I tribute Max Keeping: a man who's kindness and dedication to the community is felt throughout Ottawa.
  10. Woke up at 2am to the feeling of wet sandpaper rubbing against my face. Apparently the cat alarm has an auxiliary alert system.
  11. My cat alarm goes off at 4am. Anyone know how to set it forward a few hours?
  12. @jonathanabrams Glad to hear that Testdisk worked for you! One question...2nd time? Did you bork it the same way again or in a new fun way?
  13. It's a blatant indication that the Black-Eyed Peas are over-played when the "Tonight's the night" song is on at 6am.
  14. Whirlwind day: Took the Riggerbeast to the vet, replaced a troublesome router, and somehow worked a full day in there too.
  15. The morning fog in Stittsville is so thick it engulfs the town. If my radio starts crackling, I'll be snatching all the keys I can find.
  16. Blasted like a rocket down the HOV lane today. Mildly entertaining, but too short... needs more cowbell.
  17. Practicing my American accent using Wikitionary - http://su.pr/1Jsu9e - What are you talking about?
  18. It's been a while since I've read a book purely for fun. Ironically, it was Farenheit 451 that I picked up yesterday. I highly recommend it.
  19. They let me back in, eh! I'm enjoying my ceremonial Double Double and a Canadian Maple doughnut at Pearson.
  20. Terminal 2 at CDG is chaotic. I don't understand why they have this many people in such a tiny and cramped space.
