  1. @durin42 Yeah - I did the "easy_install hg" using the SL installed Python... worked great...
  2. @rcw3 It could be said that the NYT app isn't innovative/utilizing the platform. Of course, I use NNW, iWork, and hate the Google apps!
  3. @siracusa The day web apps near or match native apps, Macs and iPhones become irrelevant (btw - I don't think it will ever happen).
  4. @siracusa It's why I use a Mac over a PC – user experience is king. Web apps are still a long way from native.
  5. @schwa My macports fu sucks. Gave up trying to hack portfiles. Did the easy_installs route.
  6. @schwa I don't directly, but any Python dependency in MacPorts will be hosed until I fix it. Plus, I like having all my pkg mgmt in 1 place
  7. @schwa Did you ever have any success with MacPorts and SL? I got it installed after pulling from SVN but Python is borked -prereq for hg :(
  8. @ccgus Gives you an excuse to buy a shiny new video card!
  9. @siracusa Ain't it the truth. PostgreSQL is the bomb (minus the pesky licensing issues).
  10. @schwa I would love to see the results of your iPhone analytics solution research! #iamalazydeveloper
  11. @MrRooni Shazam? As in the app?
  12. They still have plenty of iPhone 3GSs at the Green Hills (Nashville, TN) store... and a fairly short line...
  13. Waiting in line at Apple store... Plenty of iPhones available supposedly.
  14. Beginning an over 24 hour airplane / airport experience... starting at Tegel in Berlin and ending at BNA. Fun times.
  15. Back at the airport. Again. 16 hours until Germany.
  16. @vjl I think they did... by deprecating it.
  17. Sitting on the floor at SFO with about 8 bajillion other people as flight delays multiply exponentially...
  18. Another succesful and enjoyable WWDC... On to SFO and homeward bound.
  19. Listening to James Dempsey and the Breakpoints during the NSPasteboards & Services session.
  20. @schwa Unhappy that SIMB/InputManagers don't function in 64-bit apps. I'm afraid this is the end of Safari addons... switching to Camino?
