  3. The first few episodes of Doll House really demonstrate Joss Whedon's strengths as a writer. #competitivegeekbaiting
  4. @brian_carnell almost got me with his #competitivegeekbaiting about the RIAA.
  5. is battling a mystifying #Flash embed bug in IE7. @hulu and @youtube's technique won't for us. I wish I could pick their brains.
  6. All of the characters in the Lord of the Rings movies were overused fantasy archetypes. #competitivegeekbaiting
  7. Check out the boobs on that female Dragonborn! #dnd #competitivegeekbaiting
  8. Han waiting for Greedo to shoot improves his portrayal as an all-around good guy. #competitivegeekbaiting
  9. has $3k sitting in his bank account waiting for Apple to release a 15" MBP with a matte screen http://tinyurl.com/fuck-glo... #apple
  10. In the middle of building her first character, @jmjbean is reading a back issue of Dragon, hmming and ooooing. The girl is adorable. #dnd
  11. Office words via @daringfireball, every single one of these makes my teeth grind. And I hear them a lot. http://tinyurl.com/office-w...
  12. @insrtnmhre but at least they're consistent. Three folks on the #lfr list got the same response from CS: save-ends effects don't stack. #dnd
  13. Another @wotc CS response. Weakened by 6 wights in one fight? You only have to make one saving throw.
  14. good morning traffic copter.
  15. @MalsvirKothar they'd probably call it something like DMG2 ;)
  16. has definitely experienced http://xkcd.com/609/
  17. @MalsvirKothar I do. MTG has a huge vocabulary for rules that judges know but the average player need not. #dnd needs to develop the same.
  18. @MalsvirKothar I certainly hope not! #dnd needs to build up the rulings system that MTG has—concepts like the stack took years to hone.
  19. @insrtnmhre agreed. Conjurations in general are really wonky. As I read it, they can't be trampled over or swarmed through, which is nice.
  20. @insrtnmhre I saw folks arguing both ways on the forums, that's why I mailed CS. Their answer was unambiguous, & now they're a rules source.
