  1. @averyj Nice, I wouldn't mind hitting a ball game. We frequent Baltimore so the drive is no big deal. You doing any Rails/Ruby work now?
  2. @averyj I will be at RailsConf though on my own dime. At least it is driving distance.
  3. @averyj LOL, yeah well least they used it. Long-ish story. It won't happen again, it had to do w/ no pay for travel/hotel and no confirm..
  4. @averyj Who had my name badge on?
  5. @averyj Seriously? I was supposed to go via InfoQ but never got confirmation so instead of showing up with no pass, I stayed home.
  6. @oaknd1 I will hold you to it.
  7. @oaknd1 I would love to come out for a game. @averyj can pick some dates to come. I bet it would be a great time.
  8. @oaknd1 Maybe the Pats will take him back. I mean, someone has to keep the Gatorade stocked.
  9. @coreyhaines Go hang out with @bryanl at the @engineyard offices on Monday. #jrubyconf
  10. @oaknd1 LOL, ok..I will let you have that one. Is Weiss going to be shown the door now?
  11. @oaknd1 Seeing I am a CT resident and local to UConn.. I have to say..oh yeah baby. Sorry, but since you are a Yankees fan.
  12. @RickStrahl The fix for Messenger on Win7 is to run it in XP or Vista mode. You can do that from Windows Explorer to the Messenger EXE.
  13. @bryanl Oh nice. I guess that is a plus that it can be charge while in use. I am considering the Mifi when I do some coworking or client.
  14. @bryanl Seems like a flaw in the Mifi to me. I was thinking the same thing, charging seems like a serious design flaw.
  15. Giving Hootsuite a try, been using Tweetdeck but I like to try different things.
  16. @danbenjamin I am a bit partial to Scala. Scala Bazinet, who does that sound? A girl of course.
  17. @david_a_black Well, good point. Ruby is very live and well and getting better. The VM news is just a nice reminder. :-)
  18. @deanwampler "Very useful stuff..." Seriously?? #qcon
  19. RT @igrigorik: new blog post. "State of Ruby VM's: Ruby Renaissance" @ http://bit.ly/7b5s7u #rubyconf (an exciting time to be a Rubyist!)
  20. @igrigorik Oh nice, this will be a pretty exciting time for Ruby.
