  2. Just crashed my tv. Wish I could get at the core dump to see what went wrong.
  3. @jasonatennui This follows conventions for each format. There is no concept of variable quality in GIF at all, for example.
  4. @fredquie It's like asking me to pick out the fastest snail. The best framework for you is the one that closest suits your problem.
  5. @FlahDesign PHP includes very few libs. If you want to talk to Oracle or LDAP or dozens of other things, you need to install those yourself
  6. @FlahDesign The PHP part is easy. But I have no idea how hard it is to install common libs on Solaris.
  7. @gaarf Slight mixup in the cvs->svn migration - the mirrors will fix themselves in the next hour or so. Try another mirror in the meantime.
  8. @kadnan It will continue to be supported in the SAPIs where it makes sense. CLI, CGI and Embed. But in the others it doesn't.
  9. @joedakroub That makes no sense. Even if your precision was somehow set to 1, you still get 0.9. eg. php -d precision=1 -r 'echo 11/12;'
  10. @daveh551 It looks ok. Just go to http://slowgeek.com and click on Login
  11. The TV is a Samsung LN46B750 with Yahoo! widgets. This tweet was written and sent from it.
  12. My new tv has ethernet. Plays xvids better than my PCH and shows my Flickr Sets perfectly. The 15-yr old tv it replaced had an ON button.
  13. @kellan Cool, thanks.
  14. @plasticbagUK Sounds like you need a PopCorn Hour - no transcoding needed.
  15. @smckenzie23 What is his nike id?

  17. @lenn0x Yes, that will really impress the women!
  18. @stevelove @pzyktzle Forking is never the best option. An async event-driven approach will beat threads and forks in almost every case.
  19. @lordmattborg Why do you keep posting these?
