  1. IMHO @wholefoods is the single best example of a corporate Twitter account.
  2. This was a parody with a serious purpose - Sock Puppets never prosper: http://tinyurl.com/ysl8jd
  3. Any think @paullyoung looks cute with his new haircut? http://tinyurl.com/ysl8jd
  4. I am very sorry and I ask our stakeholders to please forgive me.
  5. I sincerely apologize to all Whole Foods stakeholders for my error in judgment in anonymously participating on online message boards.
  6. All Rahodeb's posts should be read in full context of the discussion. Reading them out of context may lead to serious misunderstandings.
  7. rahodeb sometimes represents what I believe and sometimes didn't. Sometimes I simply played "devil's advocate" for the sheer fun of arguing.
  8. I posted under a pseudonym because I had fun doing it. I never intended any of those postings to be identified with me.
  9. Wal-Mart is going to help Whole Foods more than it hurts them. Wal-Mart will help educate customers to the value of organic foods
  10. I think Mackey is in the John Maynard Keynes school of logic: 'When the facts change madame, I change my opinions. What do you do?'
  11. It will double to $20 billion 4 years after that (18% CAGR) and probably double again from there to $40 billion within 5 years of then.
  12. Whole Foods will hit their $10 billion sales target by the end of the decade (probably before then) and they won't stop there.
  13. So a tsunami may hit Whole Foods Market some day again. So what?!
  14. I know their stores, understood their strategy and knew WF would crush them in head to head competition, which is exactly what has happened
  15. I knew OATS was going to eventually crash (and I made quite a bit of money shorting them)
  16. Would WFMI ever sell out to another company? Probably not as long as Mackey is running the company.
  17. Some really smart institutions are finally realizing what I realized years ago: Whole Foods is going to be a really large company someday
  18. These sacrificed values are important to WF customers. Price isn't the only thing that matters to WF customers-perhaps to you, but not them
  19. Wal-Mart isn't unbeatable. They emphasize everyday low prices & sacrifice important values like quality, service, store ambience and beauty
  20. @scottmonty: You must not patronize any of WFMI's stores.Tatoos, piercings, unusual dress and interesting haircuts are everywhere.
