  1. Some rally finish videos will be posted tonight. Finish point did not have internet coverage You are not going to believe it. Jamii bora
  2. The boys and I have taken a heli back to nairobi from Mombasa. Landed at a remote Masai village. Everyone hide - then we all played together
  3. The rally has concluded - not the race. A race to prosperity as I now want to positively refer to it. The East Africa Safari my lead the way

  5. We just finished. The toughest and most exhikarting event of my life - and greatest outcome. Jamii bora is a household name in East Africa
  6. Saw the vehicle in Nairobi. The front end is getting a makeover and come tomorrw it WILL cross the finish line. Thx for support!
  7. Staightening out the car frame a bit and back in the race to finish tomorrow with jamii borasians support.
  8. Okay, our car will require some "glueing" back together. 1 day out, as allowed by the race and back in tomorrow for the finish in Mombasa!
  9. Ran 8th yesterday in 1st competitve sectionm. Huge advance as the car held together - then kissed a tree in the 2nd.
  10. Ummm, so we kind of bumped a tree. Getting glued back together so we can cross the finish line for the day!
  11. It's going well, weaving up mountains with drop-offs that will make you think twice about sneezing! JL and I are making up ground today!
  12. I blew by this guy stuck in the mud yesterday. He was motioning for a tow but it was far too risky for us. It was P. Floyd's drummer!
  13. Ian Duncan is pushing his lead as #1 further with each stage. Talked to him for awhile and he wants to put a Jamii Bora sticker on his car.
  14. Heading to the car for another day. 600kms to conqeur today. This race keeps getting tougher!! Tired but pushing through with adrenaline.
  15. Torrential rains in a climb of 5,000 ft in 11 km to a ridge. Almost washed over a ledge by a wall of water - 15 ft wide wicked rough "road."
  16. Kilimanjaro is magnificent - in the brief moments that we could look up from thre road. We are still in this game. It is inconceivably tough
  17. This is so insane. We made it toi the end today. Lost a wheel, on two wheels and buried in a torential downpour in the sand.
  18. Long day - stage 4 yet. Mechanics fixing 10 things now - gotta go.
  19. Lost an entire wheel stage two - I mean everything. Then stage three into a rain storm and stuck in deep sand. Dug out after rain stopped
