  2. Can't comment on the sigikki.com viewer, because it doesn't work for me at all. It's a new site so I'm reserving judgement. #comics
  3. Digital comics interfaces: downloadable .cbrs > standard JPG+links > DMP's reader > Zuda's reader > .pdfs, downloadable or not.
  4. I like the look of the Sigikki site, but man, that name is hideous. Couldn't they have called it something else? Just Ikki is fine by me.
  5. There's something nice about numbers lining up like that. It's random and arbitrary, but it pleases me.
  6. If I don't gain any new followers before I do 18 more tweets (or lose as many followers as I gain), I'll have 100 followers and 1000 tweets.
  7. @dryad_wombat: they put me in a plain black skirt & white blouse & grey shawl & cap - v. boring by comparison to some of the others...
  8. Can this be the best story ever written? (It has dinosaurs! No sodomy, though.) http://bit.ly/18CbK1
  9. Very loud party going on next door. I don't begrudge them their fun, but I wish they could have fun more quietly; it's nearly bedtime.
  10. "When the capital development of a country becomes a by-product of the activities of a casino, the job is likely to be ill-done." JM Keynes
  11. It's a little disturbing getting earwormed by "The Squaddies' Song". This recording of The Threepenny Opera is too catchy by half.
  12. Got fitted for Tudors. Lots of gorgeous velvet and brocade on racks; doublets and gowns and plumed hats. None of which I get to wear, alas.
  13. @dryad_wombat: awww, getting a bit teary looking at that slideshow. You both look wonderful!
  14. The ever-eloquent Jay Smooth on the tragedy of Michael Jackson's life: http://bit.ly/14xAiX
  15. ...or rather, his sight has been saved but he's got enormous bills to pay; insert rant about health insurance here.

  17. @mr_graves: I'm mostly looking forward to getting to wear 16th-century clothes. And see filming from the inside! ...kind of.
  18. @mollydot: Costume fitting tomorrow, filming Wednesday. I think it'll be on TV this autumn? Not sure. I might not be in shot anyway...
  19. Also: Asterios Polyp by David Mazzuchelli is the best graphic novel of 2009. I know the year is only half-over; I'm still right. #comics
  20. This just in: I'm going to be an extra on The Tudors! Very excited.
