  7. Sil-Matrix (Potassium silicate): some hype 15 yrs ago but data for powdery mildew doesn't look good. Anybody use this for disease or insect?
  8. Oregon has a new fumigant for high value crops including fruits and ornamentals called Midas. Iodomethane + chloropicrin - restricted use.
  9. Watch your formulations! Scholar SC (20.4%) has higher rates than Scholar (50% formulation). Mix em up and you got trouble.
  10. Abound label is a pain the behind. 2 years ago they cleaned up the rates: 6.2 to 15.4 oz went to 6 to 15.5 oz but now they went back!!
  11. I don't like the word suppression on labels. I think it means it doesn't work! or so poorly, even the company will not stand behind it.

  17. Lots of grape bunch rot out there. Has been building for the last week or so since those last rains.
  18. Got Mildew? Fight with oil not bicarbonates. Slow down, increase gal/A (not rate/A) and get thourgh coverage.
  19. Powdery mildew seems very intense on many crops this year. Weather has been very favorable.
  20. Lots of brown rot fruit rot showing up on this week on cherries.
