  1. @willrich45: For me, technology hasn't changed the "larger lessons." It's just made "larger lesson" learning experiences more doable.
  2. RT @willrich45: Just Posted: "The Larger Lessons" http://bit.ly/u2BpU What is the role of technology in teaching the bigger ideas?
  3. @creately: I want to have groups in remote locations working on one organizer together at the same time. Is that "create-able?"
  4. @creately : Have you guys rolled out the ability to create with others yet?
  5. Anyone going to Atlanta for the NBPTS conference next week? I'll be in town briefly for a BOD meeting, but would love to find you there!
  6. Just finished writing more about organizing learning teams in a PLC: http://bit.ly/Ialjy
  7. (Who DOESN'T want to be an Iowa State Cyclone?!)
  8. I haven't had the time to look at fees or degrees, but I REALLY want to take @mcleod's classes this fall: http://snipurl.com/mgve8
  9. @courosa @crafty184: I didn't even realize that Technorati still existed! They haven't been reliable for so long, they're irrelevant!
  10. @snbeach : Dang, Sheryl. I left Buffalo yesterday. Would have been cool to buy you a beverage in my hometown.
  11. And considering it's been over 90 degrees for weeks, I'm really starting to wish I was Canadian!
  12. Spent all day in the yard today, so I'm sore times ten. Gotta do it all again tomorrow. I'll be a wreck by the weekend.
  13. Interesting fact of the morning: Internet attention spans average 3-5 minutes. I'm wondering how that changes the work of teachers.
  14. @bcrosby : No kidding. Changing practice is difficult, time-consuming work. Who wants more of that when other "solutions" are "successful?"
  15. @bcrosby : Don't you think that scripted lessons make some teachers feel "safe?" Student struggles can't be MY fault--I'm following scripts.
  16. @willrich45 : not only is FB blocked, but teachers are scared---or downright forbiden--- to even think about connecting with kids there.
  17. @glassbeed : I like the idea of acknowledging measurement error. It would put test scores in a more realistic light for everyone.
  18. @njtechteacher : Hey Ann, by now, you're in the middle of a long day. I hope all is well for you and your husband. Digital fingers crossed!
  19. @chrislehmann : Couldn't have been a better story---unless Roddick won his first Wimbeldon that way!
  20. Just finished writing about the best ways to organize learning teams in a professional learning community: http://snipurl.com/lsy39
