  1. Think I solved the MobileMe issue... Syncing to Google Contacts with it was apparently the problem.
  2. Anyone else have problems with MobileMe on win? It keep wanting to delete all my 100 contacts and add 100 new ones. Replacing doesn't work
  3. @kiru4killer What Mac PPC issue for redsn0w?
  4. @dbobian I updated on my computers. Shouldn't matter.
  5. ultrasn0w 0.91 fixes an issue where the payload would be sent again after Airplane Mode. Shouldn't hurt normally, so minor fix. @phoenixmert
  6. This is the best jailbreak tutorial I've ever seen in my life (by @walkingcrow and @ragable): http://bit.ly/i2Wjv
  7. @comthre3 Are you sure it's not just because of the 3.0 update or any of the apps you installed?
  8. @YourCunt Activation not the same as an unlock. You have an activation problem. Sorry, but the piece of crap you're holding is damn complex.
  9. @YourCunt Shouldn't happen with a 3G since it's wildcardactivated, but if it does, you need to hacktivate. Do redsn0w with unofficial sim in
  10. ultrasn0w works on hacktivated AND legit, purplesn0w only works on legit @canyewtell
  11. My rec. to @geohot would be to not do the unmap thing for RC3; it's good practice to execute the exploit as little as poss; 8KB is nothing
  12. At least on legitimately activated phones. If you hacktivate (as most people who need an unlock) then you can ONLY use ultrasn0w.
  13. I would say us 0.9 is the best right now, at least until @geohot has an RC3 that uses malloc, then there won't be a diff. @justinj16
  14. Around 16 KBs of memory, I believe, but it doesn't consume CPU time at all. @jblparisi
  15. @geohot On the malloc: Seriously. :) Also, I'm concerned about what happens if someone reinserts their SIM.
  16. @geohot You still mangle 8KB of memory though and I think there were definitely xrefs into that range...
  17. @geohot Finally got around to reading your new payload. 4KB pages, it looks like! Plus unmapping after the unlock runs.
  18. @geohot MMU, I mean. Crap.
  19. @geohot We don't use the MIU trick; You can't use it properly without redoing all of it to use 4KB pages, and that's overkill. No benefits.
  20. @jblparisi Check our latest blog post for more technical information... purplesn0w (RC1, at least) is not really clean at all.
