  1. @fowlduck No comment ;)
  2. Still a few months ahead of us before Railsconf 2010 but here's a sneak peak of our first proposal http://pastie.org/683557
  3. Just implemented PassengerMinInstances (Apache) / passenger_min_instances (Nginx) in a private testing branch.
  4. @meskyanichi FYI it's @phusion_nl. @phusion is a totally different guy. ;)
  5. @jmazzi ah sorry missread, rest assured, we will keep it in ;-)
  6. @jmazzi passenger-install-* --help ;-) You'll see that it's already capable of doing that ;-)
  7. Phusion Passenger 3.0 is shaping up nicely, just to make sure we didn't miss anything: what features do you think we should include?
  8. @spif awesome dude! Laat me even in advance weten wanneer je volgende optreden is, dan ga ik even fanboyen ;-)
  9. Nginx crashed, causing a few hours of downtime for various Phusion websites. This is the first time I've seen Nginx crash.
  10. Ruby Enterprise Edition 1.8.7-2009.10 released: http://bit.ly/3fam6i
  11. Working on Snow Leopard compatibility issues with REE.
  12. Finally upgraded to Snow Leopard. Phusion Passenger works fine.
  13. @ezmobius Thanks Ezra, much appreciated :-)
  14. @engineyard Likely a default field value, but could you change it to rubyenterpriseedition.com if you use the our version and name? thx!
  15. Hi @engineyard,could you verify if http://pastie.org/638799 is true and if so, is there a reason why you modified the URL to engineyard.com?
  16. Ruby Enterprise Edition 1.8.7-20090928 released: http://tinyurl.com/yatkv7u - Twitter experiences 30% improvement in throughput
  17. @digx Also, try lowering all the Phusion Passenger resource settings. See manual.
  18. @digx Maybe you don't have enough memory. Try Nginx. We've been using Passenger+Nginx on a Linode 720 for months and it works great.
  19. @digx Care to explain what happened? Its goal is to help peoples' lives, not to ruin them ;)
  20. We're planning to release Ruby Enterprise Edition 1.8.7 any day now. Still beta testing with the guys from Novell. Hang on to your seats.;-)
