  1. @leepeyton It would, aye. I was told the coverage gets patchy in the very far north, but things might have changed since last year.
  2. Where the hell are all my recent tweets? Thieving bastards.
  3. At 1078m, on crisp snow, under a clear starry sky. And the stove's on, alright!
  4. On the blog next week... Haglofs all new range for Winter 2010/2011. Alright!
  5. @themcalister Aye. I've just made a second cuppa. That's as exciting as it'll get today.
  6. But, being a Scotsman, that unexpected also makes me feel suspiscious/ vulnerable/ undeserving. The Clan System has a lot to answer for...
  7. I'm glad I've already had my weekend this week. It's rubbish out there. The joy will come from the unexpected.
  8. Sitting here in merino longjohns looking at the 98 photies from the past two days. Happy boy indeed. But, I need Indian food immediately.
  9. Just took my crampons off with my feet sticking out the tent. Stove on next I think.
  10. I though it was a big bag of licorice at first, but no, it's new test kit from PHD. Minim down pants and boots. Alright!
  11. More test kit in. Merino hoody from Chocolate Fish, streetwear from SueMe and it's Buff amageddon in here, merino, windstopper, dog Buffs ?!
  12. "Gie's a roll on bacon and egg, wi' extra salt, an' a can a Red Bull" I felt like a tourist with my salad on brown bread.
  13. When I got up this morning I didn't forsee being above a cloud inversion and seeing a brocken spectre before lunch.
  14. Inov-8 test kit is here. X-talon 240's, Race Pro pack, accessories agogo. It's all faster than me.
  15. Soup be praised.
  16. The radio silence is due to physical not mental deficiencies.
  17. Away to see Inov-8. It's all gear just now isn't it?
  18. Watching last nights Ice Road Truckers (I'm "doing paperwork"). So much snow in Alaska, but the road just makes it look like Glen Coe.
  19. @csleight I'll get it on the blog with the original Alpiniste fleece that's just arrived, the one with the pink stripe across the chest :o)
  20. I just bought a brand new '94 purple Karrimor Alpiniste from Clive Tully on ebay. So, 15 years is the wait time for ebaying test kit... :o)
