  1. Had a good race last night at North Weald, finished with the main group. I need some lessons from Mark Cavandish on how to sprint.

  3. Did 85 miles on Saturday with the Glendeen club, very warm and a little windy.

  5. Good nights racing at North Weald on Tuesday, legs felt strong and I managed to finish in the main bunch.
  6. Went cycling on Sunday with TSE, fast 55 miles, legs felt good. Didnt get the real pain when pusting up hills that I did on LEJOG
  7. Tried running on Friday night after almost 3 weeks off, oh my god my legs did not want to do that. Only managed 2 miles.

  9. Hot and sunny ride this lunchtime, legs felt Ok after Tuesday night's bashing.
  10. Raced at North Weald last night, hung in the group until the 1st & 2nd cats started to speed things up - went out the back with 5 laps to go

  12. After my last update my phone went up the spout again, so no updates. Well I made it to John O'Groats on a lovely sunny day.
  13. Todays first 40 miles were among the hardest I have ever done, wind and rain. Then we turned and had the best 35 miles ever.
  14. Day 14, evanton to bettyhill 77 miles. After yesterdays drowning I hope we can stay dry.
  15. Day 13, fort william to envaton, 80 miles. And guess what, its raining.
  16. Very wet 40 miles so far. Stopped for lunch. Another 35 to go.
  17. Day 11, Motherwell to Inverary, 81 miles.Tricky 40 miles this morning through glasgow, just stopped for lunch.
  18. We got very wet several times today but what fantastic scenery.
  19. 85 miles today, lovely rolling lanes, but its raining.
