I thought I'd updated the profile on all my social n/w sites, but had forgotten twitter. Don't look for me there, I'm now over here

Still catching up on blogs and podcasts after my 3 weeks away in China last month ...
@noony Yes, NAB's email system wouldn't let me set any longer ;)
Saudi Arabia has obivous parallels with prohibition USA; haven't seen Elliot Ness yet tho
@rmogull Brian Krebs must track them because he publishes some stats annually. OS X alone must be towards 100 vulns in the 4 sec updates
@DDrazic my ADSL bandwidth is quite poor here tho, so it might take a while for the sun to upload ...
@DDrazic We've got some spare sun here that you could borrow ... get well soon mate
Although most of the good security blogs were available thru the Great Firewall of China; I only found personal blogs blocked
Only downside of a 3 week holiday is that I'm SOOO behind on podcasts
Woo-hoo - an apartment has become available at one of the compounds; heading there tonight
I expected the football passion here in Saudi, but have been very surprised to see so much cricket on Al Jezeera Sport.
Damn, sometimes your lost luggage gets to better places than you. My suitcase has just returned from a holiday at Langkawi in Malaysia.
Woohoo - just heard that my baggage has arrived! It took 5 days - I wonder how far it got?
Turns out that they were expecting a westerner at that time, so the guards waved me through. Also skipped their normal bomb checks.
Overcame some serious security today; taxi driver took me to the wrong armed gate and I was accidentally let into office of a Saudi prince.
Lunch by the pool; you can see why people like the Saudi compound lifestyle. Need the A/C though!
@DDrazic Compounds don't have security guards as per western countries; they look military (helmets, flak jackets, etc).
BTW the physical security measures at the residential compounds are very impressive; guards look to be armed for a small war!
Will be visiting some residential compounds in Riyadh today; quite an important decision
Ahh, Hong Kong. It's so nice to be back in the world of proper broadband internet speed again after our time in mainland China.
