  1. So far November is turning out milder than all of October, +10F. No snow at MSP, first time since '63. Average 10" (3rd snowiest). Say what?
  2. The perils of trying to fool Mother Nature - massive blizzards in China days after cloud seeding. http://www.mnweathercenter....
  3. Tonight: best night of the week to take in the Leonid Meteor Shower, should be crystal-clear, perfect conditions. Good luck!
  4. We're looking for an ambitious developer well versed in PHP & PSQL, competitive salary, profit-sharing, option of 4-day work week. Help!
  5. http://bit.ly/3TXM4V Since Jan1, 2000 USA has seen 291,000+ record highs, 142,000+ record lows. One more piece of the climate puzzle.
  6. First 11 days of November warmer than the entire month of September @MSP. No snow east of the Rockies, odd for Nov. 11. No complaints here.
  7. The Droid is pretty amazing (this coming from a die-hard iPhone fan). Big screen, free (Google) navigation. Bad news 4 Garmin/TomTom. Sweet.
  8. Tracking 60 (above zero!) for Saturday. Here in the Land of Low Weather Expectations we call that a warm front - Indian Summer anyone?
  9. Nothing like having swine flu on Halloween. I get to greet kids with a mask (for real!) Yesterday it felt like I was coughing up fireballs..
  10. Back from a cruise with my dad, studying tropical weather. Snow? Reminds me of a postcard, "the weather is here. Wish you were beautiful".
  11. gusty winds top 30 mph for Twins vs. Yankees this evening. Rain possible for Friday's game. By Friday it will feel like November here...ugh.
  12. 2-4" rainfall amounts west of MSP, a month's worth of rain today! Drier weekend, chilly enough for rain/snow mix Oct 10-11 weekend? Yikes..
  13. @StaroftheNorth1 if it's obviously moving away - more than 2 miles away, I think it's reasonable 2 snap a pic or 2. Just basic common sense
  14. @jamieyuccas haha. Uok?
  15. @EricJHyland not bitter, just found it highly ironic. I love my new (9 to 5) self-employed, 1.5 mile commute/gig!
  16. Can u remember a nicer Sept? +6 degrees & counting Soak it up, jackets return next week, maybe a few flakes up north. We'll pay 4 this bliss
  17. Tornado vs. train. Train loses. Amazing video from Jan 08 near Chicago. EF3 twister, 12 cars derailedhttp://www.mnweathercenter....
  18. Wednesday's Mpls. tornado from a security camera. Pond temporarily sucked dry, Amazing stuff. http://bit.ly/1ByWA ,
  19. Tornado must have passed right over 'CCO TV. Were they on the air at 2 pm when it passed directly overhead? www.mnweathercenter.org/wea...
  20. No watch/warning in effect at the time tornado struck. Strong Doppler couplet proves it wasn't straight-line winds. Twister in S Mpls wow!
