  2. @slace Unity is my favourite example - would anyone choose Unity if it didn't have a Microsoft logo? It didn't earn the adoption it has
  3. @slace so I'm wary of Microsoft OSS projects (like #Orchard) because the world will adopt them without seeing flaws until it's too late
  4. @slace and I'm the one who seems to end up working on projects where a Microsoft half-baked project was chosen over proven OSS alternatives
  5. @slace and I think open source projects with a Microsoft connection get +10 reputation and immediate adoption without earning it
