  1. @carlcoryell Bought a copy of BirdsEye. I am looking forward to showing it to my mother-in-law. Congrats on the launch!
  2. Loving that iPhone apps are becoming more expensive. Well done, @carlcoryell and team!
  3. RT @carlcoryell ...and I'm proud to announce BirdsEye is available for purchase at http://itunes.com/app/birdseye (US and Canadian stores)
  4. So jealous of @bentlegen's SSD... OH @j_dan_williams: "I hate @bentlegen and everything he stands for because of his SSD".
  5. I'm smiling at our 9.25 GHz xGrid, idling at 0%. Almost makes me sad that Ruby's workflow doesn't do distributed builds...
  6. Ahh, that new business card smell! http://yfrog.com/1ef5lenj
  7. @ajlburke Wow. That's so much easier than my open -a Finder . that I've been doing!
  8. It's the end of Movember: http://hubhalifaxmovember.wordpress.com/2009/11/30/last-day-of-movember/. Bye bye, moustache!

  11. @phillmv Hmm.. I've never installed the gnu coreutils, so I don't know about them. They must have provided you with a new `ls`.
  12. @phillmv Are you perhaps not using bash?
  13. @phillmv ls --color doesn't work (for me) in Mac OS X. I use alias ls='ls -F -G' to get colour. I don't know how your aliases are working.
  14. @phillmv In Mac OS X it takes the default dark blue of directories and turns them a much more readable cyan.
  15. I am both excited and scared by this technology. http://www.reghardware.co.uk/2009/10/22/brother_rid_specs/
  16. SO MUCH NICER! RT @pkieltyka export LSCOLORS="gxfxcxdxbxegedabagacad"
  17. @chadfowler root shell, and then `ARCHFLAGS="x86_64" gem install pg`. That'll get your PG driver installed. From there, straightforward.
  18. @chadfowler The key is setting your ARCHFLAGS in the right environment to compile the postgres adapter. First `sudo bash` to get a true...
  19. "XML is like violence. If it doesn't solve your problem, you're not using enough of it."
  20. Exciting! Halifax Startup Drinks at @thirdwednesday. http://9mxms.th8.us
