  1. Cod sperm sacs stir-fried with equally fat Pacific oysters: nothing against the soft roes, but the word sac is definitely hard to stomach.
  2. @MorgyGalinha Love that duck egg number, especially when it's pine mushrooms in place of the asparagus. The Strode rocks.
  3. Big fingers of marbled beef pan-fried in their own fat with chestnut mushrooms and small green peppers, then grilled crab and lime. Win.
  4. Carpetbag: ended up stuffing some monster Highland beef ribe-eyes with six or seven Clyde River rock oysters apiece. Good dish; happy dad.
  5. Nice food/drink pairing piece from @simonthomsen in The Oz today (nice @Blues_junkie cameo, too). Christmas pud and rum 'n' coke? Why not?
  6. Dad wants carpetbag steak for lunch. Cut slit in scotch/sirloin, stuff with oysters. Cook. Anything more to it, folks?
