@ It's free and open source, good for programming. Pretty accessible linux distro. Can talk to you about it sometime.

@ yeah the motherboard went bad. No warranty at this point. Replaced with basically the same thing but a little faster and cheaper.

New laptop in and being memory-tested before installing Ubuntu instead of Vista. Power cord and battery from old laptop work in new one. :)
