  1. Just got the menu feature for osd_clock working in the #MythTV menu. Clock toggles on and off nicely. Notes shortly.
  2. @adam757 For info: got EXSi 4 running on bare metal, looks good. Hardware doesn't support nested. Need my tuner though!
  3. openfire -> jabber -> bitlbee -> xchat == interesting/fun!
  4. @adam757 In the meantime, I'll use the headless feature of Virtual box and control RTP access (another Virtual box feature) via Adito.
  5. @adam757 Install still failed. Hardware doesn't support nested VMs. Time to go looking for new metal...
  6. @jtodd Improve the accelerant-to-checkbook ratio! Or an industrial pulper.
  7. @adam757 just picked up VMware 7 so that should help too...
  8. @adam757 Ah! T'anks! Will look for it.
  9. @mjgraves Moving to PMwiki. Need the portability (thumb drive sneaker net) that MediaWiki doesn't provide.
  10. @adam757 I'm able to install ESXi 3.5 on bare metal but not in virtualbox on same metal. Wonder what I'm doing wrong... (more research!)
  11. I'm reluctant to look in Google Reader after being offline for a few days (power outage due to Ida)
  12. Note to self (for future reference): ESXi does not install on Virtualbox
  13. @mjgraves Concerning the migration to PMWiki: it's still in progress. I'm having to hand transcode a lot between the two wikis.
  14. improved on Hak5's notes for #openvpn-als install: http://tinyurl.com/yat8gnt
  15. One notable difference between MythTV .21 and .22: .22 doesn't allow multiple instances of front-end on the same box. For that, I miss .21.
  16. Have #myth0.22 up and running. No major issues, just very annoyed with mythvideo.
  17. Currently working on getting roughly 400 #MediaWiki pages converted to #PmWiki. (Ugh.)
  18. @lonervamp torx 9? My work cornered the market on 'em (at least in Southern VA).
  19. Considering switching from #MediaWiki to #PMWiki. Thoughts? MW is overkill for my needs. PMW is also easier to back up.
  20. Missing from the Linux howto for adding the Hulu Desktop to #MythTV: use the -f switch to tell Hulu to use full screen.
