  1. Crabtree was released from the Chiefs' PS at the end of September. He has above-average size & speed, but only caught 40 passes in college.
  2. Green Bay has signed TE Tom Crabtree to the PS. The rookie from Miami (Ohio) takes the place of CB Trevor Ford, who was promoted last week.
  3. MM: Brad Jones is playing well enough to remain the starter at LOLB, but Brady Poppinga and Jeremy Thompson will continue to get some snaps.
  4. MM: LT Chad Clifton (hamstring) is the only injury concern. He may miss practice time this week. WR/KR Jordy Nelson (shoulder) is fine.
  5. Add CB Justin Miller to the list of available returners. The former Pro Bowler was released by the Jets on Saturday.
  6. Take the new poll: http://packerupdate.com/
  7. In last week's poll, you chose Nick Collins (25%), Johnny Jolly (22%) and Ryan Pickett (15%) as the 3 players most likely to be re-signed.
  8. T.J. Lang held his own at both tackle positions against the Lions. That kind of versatility is very impressive- especially for a rookie.
  9. LT Chad Clifton, WR Jordy Nelson (shoulder) and CB Brandon Underwood (hamstring) all left the game and did not return.
  10. Not sure if the improved play of the OL is due to RT Mark Tauscher's return or Allen Barbre's departure. Probably a combination of the two.
  11. CB Jarrett Bush is athletic, but he too often loses the flight of the ball and does not make plays on it despite being in good position.
  12. If MM doesn't trust Mason Crosby from 49 yards in a dome, then maybe it's time for the Packers to look for a new kicker.
  13. DL B.J. Raji just continues to get better. His jarring tackle in the backfield in the first half was a play few men his size could make.
  14. CB Charles Woodson is playing at such a high level that even a spectacular game like today's seems a bit routine. Ditto QB Aaron Rodgers.
  15. That's three wins in a row and now the Packers have 10 days off before the Ravens come to Lambeau for a big Monday night game.
  16. Outstanding third quarter for the Packers. That's exactly how a team fighting for a playoff spot should look against an outmanned opponent.
  17. The Packers are getting very good at keeping inferior teams in a game. Let's see if MM can avoid a repeat of what happened in Tampa.
  18. Shawn Slocum's job title needs to be changed to special teams uncoordinator. The constant stream of penalties is beyond ridiculous.
  19. It's no surprise that CB Trevor Ford is active over Josh Bell. Ford has been with the Packers since May while Bell just signed on Tuesday.
  20. QB Matthew Stafford and WR Calvin Johnson will reportedly start for the Lions, and all of sudden, this game doesn't look like a gimme.
