  1. But if you don't have proper test/stage/prod, you'll either bog down your dev/deploy cycle, or ship crap to production sooner or later.
  2. Looks like the limiting factor to keep separated but manageable test/staging/prod EE environments is the database (Git won't help there).

  11. Is anyone really getting newsletter unsubs from Gmail when sending authenticated email? Since it's hidden by default, I doubt people know it

  13. BTW Josh Cohen implicitly acknowledges that First Click Free is broken, doesn't seem to lose sleep on it.
  14. And Google lost its ability to surface up the best content long ago. Outdated generic content beats up fresh, specific content all the time.

  18. Regardless of whether you support expanding federal reach over criminal cases, hate crimes and defense appropriation are separate topics.
  19. Hate crime bill attached to defense spending is a good example of why it's hard to take seriously the US legislative sausage factory.
