  9. In ME to recover sat transmitter from juvie Osprey tagged this summer in coastal MA. Probably a Great-horned Owl did it. Foliage brilliant!

  12. Symbolically at least, I crossed paths with Caley, who left MVY yesterday a bit ahead of my flight to Ireland. Only 1 bird left on MVY.
  13. Isabel has probably left Bonaire for somwhere in Venezuela and Mr. Hannah (Nantucket male) is in Haiti. Hope he keeps on trucking to S.A.
  14. Migrating back from lecture to NE Hawk Watch group in Beantown. Isabel made it and Mr. Hannah from Nantucket is on the wing!
  15. Our 1st Osprey is migrating, what a trip she's on. 56 hrs and 1,200 mi over the Atlantic. 90 miles short of Bahamas. See Isabel's maps.
  16. Ospreys just checked in & no one is moving. Well, Hix is back to a pond he was at earlier, but all else is quiet. Should be some action soon
  17. Moffet is the 1st MVY Osprey to leave the island-Roadtrip to Elizabeth Islands, back home now. Others sitting tight.
