  1. Have you tried the new and improved @mrtweet? Get great people recommendations with one click. http://mrtweet.com?v=20
  2. @theonetruebix Also a bad idea for commercial pilots, bus drivers and train engineers to tweet.
  3. @gwalter Control vs. Openness: I'm guessing you aren't talking about your Darling Determined Daughter. Great post yesterday, btw.
  4. @fredericl Also, try these hashtags for China riots: #gfw #psiphon #xinjiang #urumqi
  5. @fredericl China blocks Twitter in response to riots. http://bit.ly/S7xWQ
  6. @writeo Good point about the tax deductions. I'm keeping receipts like crazy. You, too, I bet.
  7. @gwalter I've always liked the wiki news idea, but traditional newspapers don't like the idea of ceding control to others.
  8. @pfs08 Is Seesmic doing an iPhone app? Which mobile Twitter app do you use now? I use Tweetie.
  9. @memathews I've made the switch completely to Seesmic. Sometimes I miss Tweetdeck's tag clouds, but not often.
  10. @Mettadore You and me both, buddy. I hope you're getting sleep, time and perspective after the intensity of @portlandten.
  11. A new business is like a new baby: You can't believe the quantity and variety of sh*t it produces.
  12. @memathews What do you think of Seesmic so far?
  13. @memathews @Seeger @gwalter The reporter's notebook is more a metaphor for the 90% of valuable info that gets left out of articles.
  14. @michelemclellan Perhaps daily editions could be physically redesigned for coffee shops: legal or ledger-size newsprint, more digests, etc.
  15. RT DisabilityRtsOR Aiming for 1000 responses by Aug 15: What r Oregon's disability community's greatest needs? http://bit.ly/aQZtj
  16. @michelemclellan Is there a way to make online reading feel the same as spreading out the paper on the kitchen table with a cuppa joe?
  17. Another thought on content: Monetizing completed articles is a hard sell. Monetizing the equivalent of reporters' notebooks would be easier.
  18. "Mr. Editor, tear down this pay wall!" Newspaper readers never really paid for content. They paid for the reading experience.
  19. "News" is what happens when two or more lifestreams intersect unexpectedly.
  20. RT @nerissaediza: All the stories from the camp newspaper are online plus podcasts and more pictures. http://bit.ly/AIMFH #osujcamp
