  1. @carlo_piana But this is getting too hypothetical now...
  2. @carlo_piana Fair enough. I would have thought that partners would be worried about losing the right to use their MySQL partner logos.
  3. @carlo_piana Not sure there is an ecosystem that would suffer, but I guess there could in theory be licensees suffering.
  4. @carlo_piana Exhaustion not relevant. Someone asked what would happen to the MySQL ecosystem (not users) if all TM licenses were revoked.
  5. I am showing my ignorance, but what kind of a TM license do #MySQL users get? Could Oracle revoke it?
  6. @mvonwillebrand I'm also worried that the Finnish #kindle store might offer only a limited selection of english language books as well.
  7. Amazon #kindle less than 300EUR with delivery. Wonder if it would make a good gift for a wife who likes to read...
  8. So who is Herman Van Rompuy really?
  9. @maslett Hope you are not driving at the same time...
  10. RT @cdaffara: ... Nokia ... announces platform strategy, migration to Maemo for top-of-the-line phones. http://bit.ly/4shsY7
  11. Watch out Lexis-Nexis, Google launches case law search via http://bit.ly/WJHLH. Will save clients loads of money.
  12. N900 being shipped out today. Interested in hearing/reading if its worth the hype.
  13. NY CLE credit requirements fulfilled for the last cycle. Time to plan the training program for the next one.
  14. @carlo_piana I'm at the same time happy and sorry for you guys. Well, at least this one arrived in good time before christmas.
  15. More work for merger control lawyers...
  16. EC formally objects to Oracle's Sun acquisition, http://bit.ly/LWQpY
  17. no disclaimers needed, as I'm not representing any of the parties...
  18. @andrewjskatz LYou'd see that as a problem, no?
  19. @andrewjskatz Looks like I am alone in this, but I think Oracle buying MySQL would be more like MS buying all rights to the Linux kernel.
  20. @mjasay A just-launched cloud product is arguably not a credible competitive constraint on Oracle. Agree that it could become one though.
