  1. Made Honeycrisp apple sauce with Vietnamese cinnamon and brandy. Perfect for topping latkes.
  2. This is sickening--Xoco raided by USDA (why?!), waste of animals lives: http://bit.ly/8k6uqN.
  3. Planning fiesta for Christmas... mole is definitely on the menu.
  4. Sometimes, nothing but Campbell's tomato rice soup will do. (It's what the kid-me always had coming in from the snow).
  5. Typing too much. My hands hurt (and my head, too). Oh, deadlines. Will you ever stop?
  6. Pork carnitas, slow-roasted for 10 hours, with pickled red onions for dinner. Yum.
  7. Solid coffee milkshake, truffle fries and jack, pepper and fried egg burger at DMK. Fried pickles and okra gets props.
  8. Back home and went out of Thai with my little man.
  9. Morning at St. Lawrence Market in Toronto, then a visit to Wychwood Barns
  10. Feeling kind of haunted. Not sure if Basic Space is romantic or creepy. Either way, I like it.
