  1. Slightly hungover from a night out at Jamie Oliver's Restaurant "15" in London to celebrate our son's 21st birthday. Boy, we were LOUD!
  2. Champagne breakfast, new socks, new bike... hey, it must be my birthday.
  3. First run in 10 days followed by a whole day of comic catch up.
  4. Today it's the leaves and ink/color as many comics as I can in an afternoon (which is probably, nearly 2....gaaah).
  5. Garage cleared, back aches, hands sore. Now I've got to try and draw.
  6. Wireless network set up, internet working, so is TV. Last problem: Can't receive Ollie and Quentin email. There's always something.
  7. House is nearly empty, removal guys working around me. Still one comic to finish today. I really shoulda got ahead with my strip.
  8. And so starts my last week in my current home. We move on Friday. I have no idea how I'm going to fit my comics in. Gulp.
  9. @arcticcircle February?!!!! Gaaaah!
  10. Exchanged contracts on our house today. Teresa burst into tears.
  11. Best thing about being only hours ahead of schedule is writing Christmas gags near Christmas. Who wants to write them in June?!
  12. Need to write some Christmas gags or I'm going to have to use that "Christmas was weeks ago" line again.
  13. Just finished my daughter's birthday card. She's 18 on Thursday! Every year since my two kids were born I've drawn their cards.
  14. Wanna see a ruder (and funnier) version of one of my strips? http://bit.ly/1KYjlq
  15. Wacom tablets aren't tough enough. I always put my left elbow through the plastic in the bottom left corner.
  16. @davidfnz Crossover comics usually start appearing after the Reuben awards. http://bit.ly/NvvCE
  17. @davidfnz Invest David! I must've found about 8 decent comics in just one book yesterday. Gotta be worth a couple of pounds/dollars/goats?
  18. Top Comic Strip Writing Tip #8: Revisit old notebooks. There are lots of unused gags you wrote but missed.
  19. Cough! Cough! Gaaah. Filled the car up and the attic's only about a tenth empty! Really itchy too.
  20. I've put it off long enough. Today I venture into our attic to get rid of the junk we've collected over the years. Wish me luck.
