My uncle has always had a hard time dealing with his past. Today was very special to him. The ceremony and time at the wall was so uplifting

My uncle (VietnamVet) and I waited for ceremony to begin. It was awesome. I sent word back to the bus. Most of the Vietnam guys came back.

Stop3- Vietnam Memorial- when we got there many were disappointed. We couldn't go to wall for a ceremony 45 minutes later. Many went to bus

Stop 2-Korean War Memorial. Many of our men on bus fought in Korea. They all speak of how cold it was. The statues looked so real in rain.

WWII memorial- saw many men in wheelchairs that are old enough they may not make it back again. It was raining good. Those soldiers were ok.

Stop number 1. WWII memorial. The local TV station ABC 11 met us here. We have 4 brothers on board who all served in WWII. Really Special.

We have guys from WWII, Korea, and Vietnam. We are taking a bus to all 3 memorials. Our oldest is 89. Look forward to many updates tomorrow.

Tomorrow is one of those days. My company Olde Heritage Builders is taking 55 veterans from our hometown of Zebulon to all 3 memorials in DC
