  1. CrossFit today: Strength: 3x8 Bulgarian split squats using 105# -- MetCon: 15-12-9 reps of deadlift @ 225# and Hindu pushups
  2. Today: pistols and handstand pushups. 21 overhead squats @89#, 42 pullups, 15 OHS, 30 PU, 9 OHS, 18 PU in 17:23.
  3. Thur: jerk 3x3 to 145# and 3 rounds of 20 box jumps, 15 knee to elbow and 10 DB thrusters @ 40#.
  4. Tue: max ring dip @ 11, pullup maddness up to 12 and tabata squats @ 18. Can bend stoved finger a bit.
  5. Busy week: Mon-stoved fingers, but push press to 142# and 3x500 row in 1:44, 1:46 and 1:48
  6. Yesterday ran 4x400, w 50 squats after each quarter. A kid from BC jogging the reservoir said "You're putting us youngsters to shame". Heh!
  7. Today's workout looks to be leaf clearing. I've got a short window of time before the rains come this afternoon.
  8. Front squat 5x5 yesterday. Worked up to 165# for 5 reps. Failed on the 3rd rep of 175#. New PR.
  9. Back to Boston. 5x3 power snatch on Wed. Went light because I had stoved a finger playing goalie w The Daughter's soccer team.

  14. Ran the stairs at Harvard Stadium this morning. Lacrosse tournament on the field, so the normally deserted stadium had lots of action.
  15. Ran 1.5 mi of hill repeats while The Daughter was in ballet last night.
  16. One rep max backsquat: Hit 275# (my existing PR). Failed at 280#. Then AMRAP met con: 5 rep DB squat clean (45#), 7 box jump & 10 pullups.
  17. Afternoon run along the Charles River in sunshine yesterday. As fall progresses toward winter you have to take advantage of the sun.
  18. Helen at Crossfit: Run 400m, 21 KB swings, 12 pullups: repeat 3 times. 11:04 min.
  19. Followed up later w a sprint workout. Six sets of 400m sprint w 2 min rest between reps.
  20. Crossfit at noon: 5x2 cleans up to 145#, then three rounds of 15 DB thruster and 15 box jump.
