  1. @davidhussman yep - testing an interface on devs doesn't help...unless they are the end users
  2. @headius ramen is better than a burger? Hmm... SFO is not one of my favs, love how flying in & out of term 1 can = new security screening!
  3. @davidhussman and no one ever says of paper: "looks great, so you're almost done right?"
  4. @davidhussman I find a ton of value in testing paper mockups - easy to change and throw away and it gives different feedback
  5. @neal4d ok, that's what I've done too though I'm building a new version of one talk for a keynote...
  6. If you insist on leaving your car running when you "just run in" at this time of year, god help you in January (@neal4d fav month in MN btw)
  7. @neal4d yes it is...cutting is always harder than adding - do you build a new deck or just hide slides in regular deck?
  8. RT @davidhussman If you don't know where you are going, it's easy to iteratively not get there.
  9. @scottdavis99 you are such a rockstar ;)
  10. @tedneward sweet potatos are some kind of wonderful though, especially when mixed with sausage. Or bacon. Or ham...I could go on and on.
  11. @scottdavis99 way to shatter poor @jeffscottbrown innocence...if you tell him about Santa so help me...
  12. In honor of @neal4d, another near vegetarian dinner of sweet potato hash. At least if you're the kind of vegan that eats sausage.
  13. @jamescarr well, either way, *I* need the tests...so I'll write them
  14. When even MS doesn't want to support products on IE 6, maybe it's safe for the rest of is to start cutting ties too: http://is.gd/4Lj1X
  15. RT @objo RT @JimHolmes: Had forgotten about SharePoint 2010 leading the way in DROPPING SUPPORT FOR IE6. http://is.gd/4Lj1X
  16. @jamescarr yea it does! Oh well, once we hand this off, tests probably won't be run again...
  17. Me: "I noticed there weren't any updates to the tests after your last checkin." Dev: "Yeah, I didn't have time to write any." Me: heavy sigh
  18. It's scary when your info arch folks don't know much about your core database platform...
  19. If the tests are running on the build box but failing on *your* machine, there's a pretty good chance *you* broke something. Just sayin.
  20. @jasonbock take it up with Ola Jason! Don't even get me started on my work issued ThinkPad...dear god.
