  1. @wickedlibrarian A burrito, huh? Well, I warned them about letting librarians have computers. No one would listen.
  2. To see what I have so far, go here: http://www.librarything.com...
  3. Logging my library, yes, all my books, into LibraryThing. Is this fun? Currently have 709 logged.
  4. Where characters come from seems to be something of a mystery. You just accumulate facts about him/her and gradually reach critical mass.
  5. In addition to Pete, who directed "Up", cartoonist Patrick McDonnell (Mutts) and novelist Glen David Gold were there.
  6. Went to the Charles M. Schulz Museum (Peanuts) yesterday. (Great museum!) Pixar's Pete Doctor was there talking about character development.
  7. Recently joined http://LibraryThing.com. Amazing website. You might want to check it out. Useful cataloging resource for authors.
  8. Watched Lost in Translation, again. Terrific movie. Sofia Coppola is amazing. Delicious story. Favorite scene: karaoke. Secret is there.
  9. @zoecello In Greek the two dots are called a "diaeresis". In German, the two dots are called an umlaut.
  10. @zoecello Yes, that's Zoe music, in that your music will live forever.
  11. @zoecello And by the way Keating (Irish spelling Céitinn) is an old Irish family name. I'm Irish also on both sides of my family.
  12. @zoecello And that's Zoe with a diaeresis over the "e". (and not an umlaut as in German). Zoe is ancient Greek.
  13. @zoecello Dont b silly. I love Zoe. The ancient Greeks had 2 words for life. Bios was a single, finite life, but Zoe meant eternal life.
  14. Just watched My Life in Ruins on Blu-Ray. It was worse than the critics said. Very disappointing. Some good shots of Greece but not worth it
  15. @CapricaSeven My iPhone is bad about overriding my typing too. I hate to be bullied by software.
  16. Rereading Ch6 of Jung's Memories, Dreams, Reflections. Wishing Amazon would ship Jung's The Red Book as they promised. Can't wait.
  17. @apdox You should have done a bit.ly on that link and then it would work.
  18. @wickedlibrarian Like a plotline. Hang them on a plotline like we used to hang out clothes. Let them flap in the breeze.
  19. @zoecello I've been listening to classical music for fifty years. I've never heard anything as wonderful as your music. Go for it.
  20. @wickedlibrarian I'm a writer now, fiction & nonfiction. I was a astro engineer before that. Loved working in a library most of anything.
