.@ Canola oil has the best omega-3 to omega-6 ratio of any veg oil. Most are terrible. I know it's genetically engineered.

.@ I have coconut oil, but used olive to season. Coconut oil has a strong taste. I didn't use canola bec omega-3s go bad fast.

My cast iron pan cleaning method: I washed it with soap & now I'm reseasoning. Dry on low burner, smear with oil, heat for a few minutes.
