  1. Dumbest description ever (from Amazon): "Non-stick roasting rack is the perfect size for any size roasters." <--magic rack!
  2. .@imadedinner Brilliant! Potatoes as living trivet. Thanks. :)
  3. I'm going to try roasting a chicken in my new cast iron Dutch Oven. I never used one of those before. Hope I don't need a rack.
  4. .@GirlGonePrimal I didn't read the whole article yet (about canola), but I trust Sally Fallon. I have her "Nourishing Traditions" book.
  5. .@GirlGonePrimal Interesting about canola oil, thx. Inevitably, anything genetically engineered turns out to be dangerous.
  6. .@GirlGonePrimal Greens are also an excellent source of omega-3s - most people don't realize that.
  7. .@GirlGonePrimal Canola oil has the best omega-3 to omega-6 ratio of any veg oil. Most are terrible. I know it's genetically engineered.
  8. .@GirlGonePrimal I have coconut oil, but used olive to season. Coconut oil has a strong taste. I didn't use canola bec omega-3s go bad fast.
  9. My cast iron pan cleaning method: I washed it with soap & now I'm reseasoning. Dry on low burner, smear with oil, heat for a few minutes.
  10. *@PitchingAFit @lollydub Thanks for the cast iron cleaning tips. Maybe I'll google this and see what I can find.
  11. I'm a little weirded out at the idea of not using soap when cleaning my new cast iron pans, per instructions. Won't bacteria grow on it? #fb
  12. How do men and women differ in emotional eating? Take the test and see: http://bit.ly/2vsid5
  13. I'm about to grill some fish on my new Staub enameled cast iron grill. I wonder how long I should cook it...
  14. I tossed my Foreman Grill because the nonstick was peeling off & poisoning me, no doubt.
  15. Emotional eating is often from being unaware of your feelings & needs. Solving this also improves your relationships. Surprised? #fb
  16. Emotional eating coaching, cost saving measure... I'm doing half-time weekly sessions with some clients. Works well. http://bit.ly/PjAY0 #fb
  17. I'm making tahini salad dressing in one of the new pyrex storage containers I just bought. One less dirty dish. :)
  18. The Farmer's Market people were still there today, though it's windy & pouring. Bought bacon, eggs, apples, cheese, & salad greens.
  19. Have noticed that ardent worrying about my email backlog does not make it go away.
  20. Don't forget self-care over the holidays! It's more important than ever at times of intense social interaction. #fb
