  11. Wheat farm groups in the US, Canada, and Australia are pushing to introduce genetically engineered wheat. GE wheat would be in many foods.
  12. USDA recently announced $50 million in funds to encourage more organic farming. Organic farmers can receive funds for conservation efforts.

  14. Monsanto sued Germany to force the country to overturn their ban on Monsanto's GM corn, but a court ruled against Monsanto.
  15. Kansas Gov Kathleen Sebelius vetoed a bill passed by the legistlature that would have restricted rBGH-free labels on dairy products. Great!
