From the alleged video, it looks like the bezel around the screen is thinner than on the current MacBook/MBAir. I hope for denser screens.

*sigh* This "dumb" trackpad is frustrating to get used to again.

So I bette get used to a normal keyboard again, and using the trackpad.

I'll probably get a replacement for my AlBook after next week's announcement. And if the rumors are right, the MacNTouch won't fit anymore.

I haven't used the built in keyboard with my AlBook in years. I put it back in so I can have the AlBook checked out, and to get used to it.

All the icons on the right side of the menubar is getting a bit nuts. I need to turn off some of them.

I really hope this is actually the last season of Smallville. The last few episodes have been kinda bad.

Dammit. I want a way to get middle-click from the AlBook/MacBook's trackpad without installing Sidetrack.

And before taking it to the Genius Bar, I need to reattach the builtin keyboard. Gonna have to do that today or tomorrow before the weekend.

Well, with the imminent MacBook refresh announcement, I should have my AlBook looked over at the Genius Bar.

@Matsubue Ended up putting in the RMA 2 fridays ago. Replacement showed up yesterday. Got time to install it today. Have pretty Ubuntu now.

@Matsubue The first one was a $20 7100GS I got on sale. DOA. Spend a few days trying to get it to work. That was when I borked my linux box.

Woot! The replacement 7100GS I got cross-shipped seems to be working fine. My work desktop saw the card. Ubuntu properly detected it.

That was annoying. Tried to get out of the screen saver on my Ubuntu box and it completely locked up. Waited ~10 mins, then rebooted the box

@ericalj You'll probably be able to use some of the more basic system libs, but stuff like UI libs and other crap like that, you'll build.
