@SMFick Clear Heart is EXCELLENT .. also Plitone Revisionist and Playing for Keeps if you haven't done them yet either ...

@mdhtweet it's working - i'm trying to raise the bar on "average cholesterol" :)
@SMFick have you done Clear Heart?
@etherius Elevation 1110 is a marked difference when everything else is 1100. :D
@trreed actually i find they make pretty good students. they know how to play the game. the challenge is converting them to be learners
@lsshanks i get asked that question a lot. i'm not sure why. ;)
@trreed educational technology - instructional design - education technology and culture - grad school level. my students are teachers :)
@trreed motivation is simple when dealing with school. not so simple when dealing with learning. learning styles are - luckily - mythical.
@trreed agreed re: curriculum. Any number of different "courses" could be (and are) designed to cover same curric.
@trreed actually the institution drives, but that's another argument. :D
@lsshanks thanks. glad you liked it. unfortunately he's an only child and 350 years from now. Pan-dimensional relationships are very hard
@Chivalrybean ah, now *that* I hadn't considered.
@trreed oh .. so they don't have 4 walls and electrical outlets .. when you said your student was a classroom, i had an odd vision.
@trreed no. in creating a course, you need to consider the LEARNER. His/her PLE is outside of your scope. Course is instance of curriculum.
@Chivalrybean if you hear a fedora, you have remarkable ears.
@trreed Each student is a CLASSROOM?! how does *that* work?
@trreed then your students do not use PLE's and the question is moot. I would argue that this is NOT the case, but not in 140 chars :)
@lsshanks wordpress is an engine (wordpress.org). also a provider (wordpress.com). edublogs.org uses the wordpress engine.
@trreed PLE = Personal Learning Environment. Question was "Does teacher need to consider student PLE while building course?"
@Gutshot I'm dancing as fast as I can :)
