  1. @noirem Yes, they are. At first I thought it was the pixies trying to create some new clothing fibre.
  2. @comay They did well. All mail was piled up on a sofa. However they switched the coffee machine off and I needed to reset its clock.
  3. There are green tomatoes in my fridge. This is particularly strange - I'm sure I bought red ones a month ago.
  4. I'm at Riverside Ct - http://bkite.com/09cwx
  5. Mmm.. I have unblended neat virginal genuine unsullied Kona coffee. *slurp*
  6. I am now home. Most notable consequence of which is that my feet should not be placed within 50 ft of others. Off to shower shortly. Poohy.
  7. Finally on the flight up to Inverness. Woohoo!
  8. Fascinated by new technology at Gatwick Flight Information: aged gentleman equipped with whiteboard and red marker pen.
  9. @quietestman And if the fajita doesn't get @FlissTee, you can be sure the tea will.
  10. Gatwick Airport may have an abundance of wifi networks to connect to, but there's no (obvious) place to charge a laptop.
  11. After much faf have persuaded The Cloud to connect me to the interwebs upstairs at departures. Gate opens 1h after scheduled departure. Yay.
  12. Flight to Inverness delayed by up to 2.5h due to lightning strike on earlier incoming flight. Truly, I have caught @noirem's flying karma.
  13. So rather than risk the chance of bringing the plane down by requesting a film starring Ben Stiller, I watched Firefly on my iPhone.
  14. @lulazoid And too many screen presses in quick succession causes it to reboot. Or so we were told by the flight attendants.
  15. @lulazoid Air Canada. In flight entertainment is a Windows-based system which "may take a few seconds to respond" to screen presses.
  16. @lulazoid Apart from radio, tv, music etc. we could (theoretically) view our flight progress on a map. Doing so buggered everything up.
  17. @FlissTee No scrambled eggs for breakfast - most disappointed. Got some half-assed continental thing instead.
  18. And btw we were advised not to look at the map because doing so caused our in flight entertainment systems to freeze or crash. #truestory
  19. Landed at Heathrow and - so far as is possible - breezed through immigration and customs. Now waiting for my coach to Gatwick to depart.
  20. We're boarding! Tweet you later. :-)
