  1. We went to see Up in the Air with George Clooney tonight. Highly recommend it! Funny, smart movie.
  2. RT @StumbleUponHelp: @niltiac To get the best of both worlds, also make sure to use up your 5 tags to tag the page when you discover it.
  3. @StumbleUponHelp This has taken off in past few hours: http://bit.ly/56r6FP, overtaking this from yesterday: http://bit.ly/5CYusW.
  4. @StumbleUponHelp Thanks! I always do that. But I rarely 'discover' my own content. I prefer to let others do that for me.
  5. StumbleUpon tip - content seems to do better when the discoverer picks a broad category eg. 'travel' rather than 'Caribbean'.
  6. @nomadicmatt @KimMance 99 air balloons (luftbaloon). It seems that only 10 of them are red.
  7. Anyone else have trouble with comments vanishing (not being held for approval but actually vanishing) when they comment on Blogger blogs?
  8. Or is that just really naive in the 21st century? Maybe rubber is now a fake version made from petrochemicals. I can't believe I don't know!
  9. Can rubber gloves go in the compost? I know plastic can't but rubber is a natural, biodegradable product from rubber trees, right?
  10. @loveclapham Indeed. ;-)
  11. I second that! RT @mikeachim: Whatever the Hopenhagen outcome, @annabrones has done a terrific job. Three cheers! #green
  12. The latest #pwp prizes are approved (http://bit.ly/5awBge), so you can now enter to win the Belize holiday (http://bit.ly/8WfVlO).
  13. @loveclapham LOL! I was thinking that maybe you meant letters to the editor in the newspaper!
  14. @loveclapham Facebook used to be pretty purely social networking but it's gone much more social media now. But yeah, it's all blurring.
  15. @loveclapham I see 'social media' mainly about how you find content, includes Digg, StumbleUpon. 'Social networking' more about people.
  16. @loveclapham It's taken off in the past 5 years or so and really become mainstream in past 2-3 years. I agree the hype is tiresome.
  17. @loveclapham But actually I think social media and social networking (inc forums, chatrooms etc) are different (though with crossover).
  18. @loveclapham No tiff! ;-) LOL. Just an interesting discussion. 10 years relatively new, certainly not a case of having 'always existed'.
  19. @Travelwriticus Just find the people within Facebook (by name) and send them a new invitation. It's the easiest way.
  20. @Travelwriticus Unless someone has used a different email address for you. Then you'll have to go and invite them from with FB.
