  1. J. is feeling sick and I think I caught it. Hopefully not swine flu. I'm feeling a little out of it today.

  4. Today is finally a shooting day. Hopefully there will be no rain.

  7. Conference room smells of cigarettes, synergy, and outside the box thinking!
  8. Without even trying, I found massive delicious cinnamon rolls while walking around. I'm moving to Taipei because of this discovery.
  9. Long morning walk to the river, saw actual schools of fish and kingfishers in the water. Taipei, you rock!

  12. Woke up early to go for a walk around the texturally delightful neighborhood before work emails started coming in.
  13. After a long day, this bloke finds himself in a hotel room and ready for bed.

  15. Landed safely in Taipei this afternoon. Production begins with last minute location and casting decisions, good snacks on the table.
  16. Heading off to Taiwan tomorrow morning for a long week of production, include two overnight 17-hour shoots.
  17. The air is disgusting and thick in this city right now. It feels like a combination of dust and smoke. We need some rain to flush it out.
  18. Evening pre-production meeting ends at 9, followed by a lackluster "Mexican" burrito that featured chicken pieces with skin.
