  7. @wangmeister: Is there a way to get full config on XP or do I need to use netsh?
  8. @drummer0608: As of now, there isn't a way because there is no need. All tweets are stored in a database and on the site, why delete?
  9. @wangmeister: I'm on XP but have used Vista.
  10. @wangmeister: I want to configure it to where if I didn't click allow on an application, nothing from anywhere can access it; even localhost
  11. @wangmeister: I want it to block from the LAN no matter where I go not just on a certain subnet like 192.168.x.x
  12. @wangmeister: I've never figured out how to block packets from LAN. How you do that? It only blocks from WLAN from default.
  13. @kevinrj: Windows firewall iosn't that bloded and it cannot be fulled unless you already have an app on the PC doing it thus already past it
  14. @kevinrj: @Mongoose_Q what would be the advantage of using ipfw from bsd over the common Windows firewall?
  15. @kevinrj: @Mongoose_Q he may want an application level firewall to block/allow application-specific requests
  16. @kevinrj: @Mongoose_Q iptables is a great solution for the technically minded but it isn't portable to a windows PC.
  17. @kevinrj: @Mongoose_Q which is bad because several viruses propigate via broken windows services on a local area network.
  18. @kevinrj: @Mongoose_Q They make little travel routers. Windows firewall is ok for protecting services but it doesn't block packets tfrom LAN
  19. @Mongoose_Q: It is a bug I think. It crashed at exit, I can give you a log file if you want.
  20. @nik62591: Correction, I here updates like one new result for searchstring. but cannot find search buffer to read or dismiss.
