  1. Headphones on, pot of coffee at my desk. This work-from-home day *needs* to catch me up. Go.
  2. World, I am behind. I mean *really* behind. Please stop spinning until I catch up (and hold all email). #fb
  3. @fred_beecher Yes, "freaking brilliant" - I want a t-shirt. :)
  4. Past 2 days of user testing unveiled a traffic pattern that has never made sense to me. Good reminder that analytics alone are never enough.
  5. Brillant. Nelson Soken on "innovation" at UPA event. Inspired.
  6. @jtgarrig No. But pedalling myself around selling ice cream sounds nice right now :)
  7. You know that design, the one a bit out there that you never thought would get traction, then does. It's making me sweat.
  8. Caffeine and sugar are powerless against the exhaustion that is starting to set in. Fresh air and a walk are needed before the UPA event.
  9. @KatieCW Yesssss. Peanut M&Ms are the best u-lab afternoon pick me up.
  10. Usability labbing it. Dark room all day with lots of coffee. And a pen. And notebook.
  11. Never tire of running my husband through tasks to look at a concept. Good reminder to not over think it. Try it, tweak it. Fail quickly.
  12. @iavdavid The reviewer comment "headphone meditation" is right on point. Love it.
  13. The glowing reviews in this usability dry run are making me uncomfortable. Odd.
  14. Goals for this concept: Shareable, Portable, Visible, Usable, Searchable, Navigatable, Relevant, Accessible. Obvious is sometimes difficult
  15. @ms_rezai Exactly. If size would allow, I would RT - so well said no room for editing!
  16. Listening to new Moby (thanks @evolvjennifer) writing problem statement and goals before some design concepting. Perfect start to AM.
  17. Day started with such potential and has followed a thread of disappointment right into suckage.
  18. Join us Thursday to hear Nelson Soken:"Lead the Pack: Sparking Innovation that Drives Customers Wild" http://tinyurl.com/au63mr (via @upaMN)
  19. Having a "cobbler's children have no shoes" moment as I plow through reorg and publish of my Photo Library. Urrrg.
  20. Fantastic weekend on the lake. Tent debut was a success. On 2nd cup of coffee to get into this Monday. #fb
