  1. Popped along to the grand-switching-on of the Christmas Lights at Priory Meadow with my daughter this evening - her face was a picture!
  2. Delivering leaflets in St Helens Ward today with John Tunbridge our by-election candidate. It poured. Politics is so glam!
  3. Out canvassing this evening - a few enjoyable tussles with Labour and Conservative supporters, and a satisfying number of Lib Dems met!

  5. Attended Filsham Valley School parents meeting on Thursday regarding the Academies plans; there is a real passion for the school - fab!

  7. Good stuff at Tuesday evening's HOTRA meeting on Academies - the sponsors were given a pasting.
  8. Excellent presentations from the members of the Save The Archery Ground committee at the public meeting today - HBC must surely refuse...
  9. Still appreciating the wise and inspirational words of Paddy Ashdown at the Eastbourne pre-Election fundraiser last night: he's a star turn!
  10. And a feisty Unite Against Fascism AGM after that, with a healthy debate on the wisdom of allowing the BNP leader on to QT - thoughts??

  19. Just finished sausage and mash and burnt my mouth; early to bed as there is a jam-packed Lib Dem Conference to enjoy tomorrow!
