  1. Been reading The Definitive Guide to Postfix all day. I feel rather overwhelmed.
  2. @bobbyllew In old media, once the channel decides it's old, it's unavailable. You have them around still, so more traction = more overall.
  3. @strategyoracle Similarly - at least when I get up earlyish. Otherwise I never want to eat before 5pm, it's odd...
  4. "Why teens aren't using twitter: It doesn't feel safe". Rubbish. It's that it's not understood and the worth is not considered high.
  5. Uploaded a few shots of a house plant using a +4 Close Up Filter and 400D kit lens on Flickr: http://bit.ly/2HVz4S
  6. I think this is quite confusing. As an end user, which wants to get it working, not worry about privacy. http://twitpic.com/a8bxg
  7. @mikebutcher Maybe someone who knows the machine inside out. Does more than just browse the web on the little machine maybe?
  8. @simonw Thanks. Is that the kit lens of the 450D? I spied both 400 & a 450D mentioned in the Flickr EXIF..
  9. @simonw What lens did you use/have on those falconry photo's?
  10. Good article on API design. http://bit.ly/10onJJ Makes me want to rethink a project of mine a little.
  11. Chris Anderson's Free made for some good listening. Interesting book.
  12. I'm sure the BBC browser support table is one of the most interesting and useful things I've found in a while. http://bit.ly/7FBzi
  13. @gruber I presumed it must sync with Outlook - but that would lock it to only certain users. (As a Mac user, I don't know..)
  14. Listening to Chris Anderson's Free on Spotify. http://open.spotify.com/alb... It's rather good.
  15. Very impressed by http://code.google.com/p/ie... Just saved me hours of headscratching and means @zefridge will work perfectly in IE6.
  16. With all the speed that Windows 7 was on my netbook, XP is still the nicest to use. It's a shame that isn't Ubuntu, but it's not that fast.
  17. I just went to see how much it would cost to go sky diving. I found £215. I'm extremely tempted. (If only I had the money...)
  18. Trying to find a good messenger bag to hold a laptop, DSLR and a few lenses, a couple of books and a jacket. Failing, not surprised.
  19. Then again, As You Like It with someone-I-presume-isn't-on-here was quite excellent. I should go to the Theatre more often.
  20. I really need to stop missing dinner. It can't be good for me.
