  16. @nickmcguire The social networks also like OAuth because it is a preestablished framework, so they don't have to role their own.

  19. @nickmcguire It's more the fact that the previous system required you to give your password to the application.
  20. @nickmcguire I get where you're coming from, but without OAuth is designed to make your information more secure, and that's why it is used.
