  1. I just posted the 10 best @newyorker pieces from 2009 http://bit.ly/4UJR8y
  2. If you find a deal better than The New Yorkerest rate (http://bit.ly/tnysub), please send me the link.
  3. Thanks @iyna, @rakingleaves, @giffinpost, @estivator & @olevia for the subscription information. I'm feeling a little better about my rate.
  4. What's the best rate you've found for a New Yorker subscription?
  5. Get the "special" New Yorkerest fan subscription rate at http://bit.ly/tnysub (& receive a free 2010 cartoon calendar).
  6. Best of issue for December 14th is live on the site. http://bit.ly/tnyest Great issue overall!
  7. I received the "special" subscription rate offer from CN & just sent them an email to see if they can make it more special.
  8. The site is now updated through the Dec. 7 issue. http://bit.ly/tnyest
  9. @aniajania After @jasonrzepka 's endorsement, I'd love for you to (at least occasionally) add your weekly picks to the site's comments.
  10. Dec. 7 issue has a Sedaris piece. Will you save it till the end for dessert or read it first like a junkie?
  11. Best of issue for The Food Issue is live on the site http://bit.ly/tnyest. My advice is to read it cover-to-cover. :-)
  12. @AngelaDaniels You are a far better friend than I. The Food Issue was wonderful and my pick will post at midnight. Enjoy your TNY reunion.
  13. LOL cartoon this week RT @simonowens: A pig on a doctor's examination table: "I'm afraid the problem is with your ribs. They're delicious."
  14. I really would like to try a spit cake.
  15. @nelsonm My pleasure. I'm glad that last week's pick came in handy. It was a fascinating profile of a person who truly "contains multitudes"
  16. @nelsonm True. Perhaps the root of my frustration is that the Kindle sub doesn't grant online access, not that the issue is locked down.
  17. I'm frustrated by how much of The Food Issue is web sub-only. There has to be a better balance for this share-worthy issue.
  18. @aprilhussar The New Yorkerest army should demand it ;-). You never know because times are really tough for the publishing industry.
  19. @AngelaDaniels I'm thinking the same thing. I go to the mag rack every week to check out the parts that didn't make it to the Kindle.
  20. @suicide_blond Excellent, I hope it's a good deal. Worst comes to, we can use it to show the power of The New Yorkerest army. ;-)
