  1. Churches emphasize programs and performance. Is God in them or are they a substitute for His presence? Reformation is found in His presence.
  2. Prepare the way. Make our path straight. Jesus is coming soon. Our church cannot save us. Only He can present us spotless before the Father.
  3. Advent reminds us that Jesus is coming. "Who can abide the day of His coming?" He is coming for a church without spot or wrinkle. Prepare!
  4. Advent calls us out of darkness into light. Though we are exposed in the light we are also cleansed in the light. Let us enter the light.
  5. The process of spiritual formation is in a cloud of triumphalism. "If we say that we have not sinned, we lie and deceive ourselves."
  6. Advent is a season of preparation for the coming of the Lord. Protestants say that He has already come in their hearts. No, there is more.
  7. Has Pauline theology has been stripped out of Protestantism? "Work our your salvation with fear and trembling for God is at work in you."
  8. Advent is not just for the liturgical church, serves as a prophetic warning for us all. The glory of God is coming but first we must repent.
  9. A new reformation does not require the destruction of the Church. God is shaking it but he is not leveling it. Our hearts must change more.
  10. Is your church a part of the new reformation? That might depend on how many control issues your pastor has. Does that control bring healing?
  11. Denominational thinking is about building booths on the Mount of Transfiguration rather than pausing and listening to the voice of Jesus.
  12. Church classifications of Catholic, Evangelical, & Pentecostal are no longer useful or helpful. A new wine skin is needed for new wine.
  13. Rapture or revival? Choices for America? Evading our responsibility of being salt and light and passing a tax burden on to our children?
  14. Some liturgical leaders are saying that we should repent for the reformation. No, we should repent for distorting God's reformation instead.
  15. “No one sews a patch of unshrunk cloth on an old garment. If he does, the new piece will pull away from the old, making the tear worse."
  16. There is no reformation without Holy Communion, a commandment of Christ. Why is it not central in worship? Have you substituted yourself?
  17. Want to be a new reformation church? Put activities on hold except worship, Bible study and prayer. Fast and seek God. Do only His answer.
  18. "A time is coming – and now is – when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for the Father seeks such worship."
  19. The prosperity gospel has the American Pentecostal Church in a stranglehold. It has now been exported overseas to ensnare other churches.
  20. There is no reformation without heart reformation. "Be not conformed to this world, but be transformed, by the renewing of your mind."
